Scutatoclupea bacchiai
Taxonomy
Scutatoclupea bacchiai was named by Bannikov (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 5089/4, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is En Nammoura (PIN collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Sannine Formation of Lebanon. It is the type species of Scutatoclupea.
