Taxonomy
Diluvarca (Cunearca) cardioides was named by Gardner (1947). Its type specimen is USNM 352307 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 2646 - Oak Grove [Oak Grove Sand], which is in a Burdigalian marine sandstone in the Oak Grove Formation of Florida.
