Taxonomy
Armigatus dalmaticus was named by Murray et al. (2016). Its type specimen is CNHM 9423, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Prapatnica, which is in a Campanian carbonate wackestone in Croatia.
