Neochonetes (Neochonetes) foshagi
Taxonomy
Chonetes foshagi was named by Cooper (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 115506 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM806i, Cerros de los Monos, El Antimonio, Sonora, which is in a Wordian marine shale in the Antimonio Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Neochonetes (Neochonetes) foshagi by Heredia-Jiménez et al. (2019).
