Taxonomy
Paradoryphoribius chronocaribbeus was named by Mapalo et al. (2021). Its type specimen is AMNH DR-NJIT002 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Cumbre (AMNH collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Paradoryphoribius.
