Amaltheus orientalis

Taxonomy
Amaltheus orientalis was named by Nakada et al. (2021). It is not extant. Its type specimen is TOYA-Fo-2974. Its type locality is Sakai River 2, Inugatake, which is in a Pliensbachian marine siltstone in the Teradani Formation of Japan.
