Novumbra oregonensis
Taxonomy
Novumbra oregonensis was named by Cavender (1969). It is extant. Its type specimen is UMMP V57007, a skeleton (skeleton lacking caudal fin). Its type locality is Knox Ranch (=Bridge Creek Flora), which is in an Oligocene lacustrine shale in the John Day Formation of Oregon.
