Mangelia hooveri
Taxonomy
Mangilia hooveri was named by Arnold (1903). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lumberyard, San Pedro - Upper San Pedro Series [Palos Verdes Sand], which is in a Pleistocene coastal sandstone in the Palos Verdes Sand Formation of California.
It was recombined as Mangelia (Bela) hooveri by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Mangelia hooveri by Hendy (2021).
