Taxonomy
Nassa delosi was named by Woodring (1946). Its type specimen is USNM 498653 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Nassarius delosi by Emerson and Addicott (1953); it was recombined as Nassarius (Caesia) delosi by Addicott (1965); it was recombined as Caesia delosi by Hendy (2021).
