Taxonomy
Paramesolobus ivanovae was named by Afanas'eva (1975). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brachiopods from the Russian Platform, "Krasnyy Stroitel'", which is in a Kasimovian marine horizon in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Paramesolobus.
