Houdongoceras chaohuensis
Taxonomy
Houdongoceras chaohuensis was named by Yang et al. (2021). Its type specimen is NIGPAS 170314, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site 12ch, Paomaling section, Houdong, which is in a Wordian/Capitanian marine shale in the Kufeng Formation of China. It is the type species of Houdongoceras.
