Mangilia (Clathromangilia) rhyssa was named by Dall (1919). It is extant.

It was recombined as Mangilia rhyssa by Dall (1921); it was recombined as Clathromangilia rhyssa by Oldroyd (1925); it was recombined as Clathromangelia rhyssa by Hendy (2021).
