Ischnochiton sanctaemonicae was named by Berry (1922). It is extant.

It was recombined as Ischnochiton (Lepidozona) sanctaemonicae by Dickerson (1921) and Berry (1922); it was recombined as Lepidozona sanctaemonicae by Hendy (2021).
