Dactylogonia extensa
Taxonomy
Dactylogonia extensa was named by Cooper (1956) [= Leptaena incrassata Twenhofel & Whiting 1935. Geol. Soc. Amer. Special Pap. Il, p. 50, pt. 7, figs. 17, IS, 1935.]. Its type specimen is USNM 117584b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bald Island, which is in a Chazyan carbonate horizon in the Mingan Formation of Canada.
