Raphistoma broeggeri was named by Grönwall (1902) [Raphistoma (?) bröggeri]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pelagiella (Parapelagiella) broeggeri by Kobayashi (1939); it was recombined as Pelagiella broeggeri by Parkhaev (2004).
