Named in honour of Mr. Olof Magnus Eriksson, my brother.
Taxonomy
Oenonites olavi was named by Eriksson (1997). Its type specimen is LO 7660 (right MI) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lickershamn 2, which is in a Sheinwoodian marine marl in the Hogklint Beds Formation of Sweden.

M. Eriksson 1997 | Right MI: Wide, rounded anterior part of the jaw. Outer face tapers strongly posteriorly below the ramus. Ovally shaped (longitudinally) and long ramus. Slender denticles. Left MI: Wide jaw which tapers mainly posteriorly but not as much as the right MI due to the presence of an inner wing. Sharp sinistral turn of outer margin at about 1/3 of the jaw length. Posteline.
