Trimorphoceras absolutum
Taxonomy
Trimorphoceras absolutum was named by Ebbighausen et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MfN MB.C.18611.1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TIM-C7, Sebkha de Timimoun, which is in a Chadian carbonate limestone in the Argiles de Timimoun Inférieur Formation of Algeria. It is the type species of Trimorphoceras.
