Dzhaprakoceras arkansanum
Taxonomy
Muensteroceras arkansanum was named by Gordon (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 119480, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 9897, White River at Glenn Creek, which is in a Kinderhookian carbonate limestone in the Walls Ferry Formation of Arkansas.
It was recombined as Dzhaprakoceras arkansanum by Ebbighausen et al. (2010).
