Echols 1971Test free, trochospiral, expanding gradually; wall agglutinated; proloculus tectinous; dorsal side flat to moderately convex; ventral side convex; umbilicus covered by a series of overlapping flaps, one flap derived from each chamber; umbilical flap distinguished from the chamber by flatter contour and often by finer agglutination; flap of final chamber usually completely covering umbilicus concealing flap of penultimate chamber; aperture a low interio-marginal arch in the last septal face, continuing as a slit around the entire free edge of the flap.
