Jabalisaurus meztli
Taxonomy
Jabalisaurus meztli was named by Barrientos-Lara and Alvarado-Ortega (2021). Its type specimen is CPC 238, a partial skeleton (fragmentary skull, pectoral girdle, and right forefin), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sierra El Jabalí, next to Gomez Farías, which is in a Kimmeridgian offshore shale in the La Casita Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Jabalisaurus.
