Parrassaurus yacahuitztli

Taxonomy
Parrassaurus yacahuitztli was named by Barrientos-Lara and Alvarado-Ortega (2021). Its type specimen is CPC 307, a partial skeleton (incomplete skeleton ($5.8m in esti- mated maximum length) incorporating articulated cranial and mandicular elements, 63 precaudal vertebrae, pectoral girdle, an), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Sombrero Ranch, which is in a Tithonian marine horizon in the La Caja Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Parrassaurus.
