Cheirolepis jonesi
Taxonomy
Cheirolepis jonesi was named by Newman et al. (2021). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PMO 235.120, a skull (Head and anterior postcranium). Its type locality is Estheriahaugen North, which is in a Givetian marine ironstone/mudstone in the Tordalen Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
