Taxonomy
Serradentus armstrongi was named by Newman et al. (2019). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PMO 234.601. Its type locality is Estheriahaugen North, Mimerdalen, which is in a Givetian marine ironstone/mudstone in the Tordalen Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
