D. H. Evans and A. H. King 2012Rapidly expanding, strongly to moderately cyrtoconic, endogastric brevicones with strongly compressed cross-section. Siphuncle compressed, or occasionally subcircular in section, septal ridges sharp, siphuncle wall holochoanitic. Endocones characteristically complex, with at least single ventral and dorsal crests present resulting in narrowly-arched, paired infula in ventral and dorsal positions; lateral endosiphoblades also present in some forms. Endosiphotube fairly wide, oblate in section, containing numerous, closely-spaced diaphragms.
