Scaphites pseudoaequalis was named by Yabe (1910).

It was recombined as Yezoites pseudoaequalis by Tanabe (2022).

Synonyms

Scaphites klamathensis was named by Anderson (1902). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Otoscaphites (Otoscaphites) klamathensis by Tanabe (1977); it was synonymized subjectively with Yezoites pseudoaequalis by Tanabe (2022).
