Champsosaurus norelli
Taxonomy
Champsosaurus norelli was named by Brownstein (2022). Its type specimen is YPM VPPU 16511, a partial skeleton (complete skull, mandibles, and partial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fritz Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
