Diagnosis
| Reference | Diagnosis | |
|---|---|---|
| C. A. Sidor et al. 2022 | Therocephalian autapomorphic in its possession of two bony excrescences along the rostral margin of the lacrimal; secondary palate formed by maxillary palatal processes squared off anteriorly and posteriorly with minimal contribution by the vomer; and a unique dental formula (I5/i3, PC13/pc15, with one upper pre-caniniform maxillary tooth). These features, in combination with a sagittal crest with a slit-like parietal foramen at its anterior end, the probable lack of a complete post- orbital bar, and a large infranarial portion of the septomaxilla, are not seen in any therocephalian described to date |
