Notictoides absens
Taxonomy
Notictoides absens was named by Sidor et al. (2022). Its type specimen is UWBM VP 117466, a partial skull (Skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Halfmoon Bluff (UWBM locality C2951), which is in a Triassic terrestrial wackestone in the Fremouw Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Notictoides.
