Impidens hancoxi
Taxonomy
Impidens hancoxi was named by Tolchard et al. (2021). Its type specimen is BP/I/7976, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Farm Thala, which is in an Anisian floodplain sandstone in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Impidens.
