Taxonomy
Heliconema bulbosa was named by Allison (1989). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BC75 44-5 at 112.2x17.3 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BC75 44, upper Tindir Creek, which is in a Tonian deep subtidal ramp lime mudstone in Canada.
