Eosynechococcus amadeus
Taxonomy
Eosynechococcus amadeus was named by Knoll and Golubic (1979). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Harvard Univ. 60203, TBS-22-1B and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ellery Creek, which is in a Tonian peritidal chert in the Bitter Springs Formation of Australia.
