Ameliaphycus croxfordii
Taxonomy
Ameliaphycus croxfordii was named by Muir (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CPC 15603, 115.0:14.4 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PM160, NW of Leila 1st Crossing, which is in a Statherian peritidal dolomite in the Amelia Dolomite Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Ameliaphycus.
