Taxonomy
Bisacculoides vacua was named by Oehler (1977). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CPC 16925, thin section 73426013A, coordinates 11.0x125.0 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MacArthur River Mine, borehole G20/25 WD, 59.9 m depth, which is in a Statherian basinal (siliciclastic) shale in the Barney Creek Formation of Australia.
