Taxonomy
Glenobotrydion granulosum was named by Zhang (1988). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BGPZD-2-8401B, coordinates 36.1x/111.5y and 53.7x/110.5y and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nianpan Mountain, Pangjapu Iron Mine, which is in a Statherian carbonate dolomite in the Dahongyu Formation of China.
