Scissilisphaera regularis
Taxonomy
Scissilisphaera regularis was named by Knoll and Calder (1983). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is K2035, Murchisonfjorden, which is in a Tonian peritidal dolomite in the Ryssö Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. It is the type species of Scissilisphaera.
