Essonodon browni

Taxonomy
Essonodon browni was named by Simpson (1927). Its type specimen is AMNH 14410, a tooth (an isolated second lower molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Crooked Creek, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Essonodon.
