Spinascutichthys pankowskiae
Taxonomy
Spinascutichthys pankowskiae was named by Murray et al. (2022). Its type specimen is UALVP 61435, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is En Nammoura (UALVP collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Sannine Formation of Lebanon. It is the type species of Spinascutichthys.
