Taxonomy
Pyropsis grahami was named by Squires (2011). Its type specimen is RBCM EH2011.001.0001 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West side of Inland Highway (locality 1), which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in the Pender Formation of Canada.
