Revalocystis kearsargensis
Taxonomy
Strobilocystites kearsargensis was named by Stauffer (1930). Its type specimen is UCMP 33027 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kearsarge section, bed 12 of Stauffer 1930, which is in a Silurian carbonate limestone in the Vaughn Gulch Formation of California.
It was recombined as Revalocystis kearsargensis by Paul (1968).
