Petersichthys libanicus
Taxonomy
Petersichthys libanicus was named by Taverne (2021). Its type specimen is IRSNB P 10271, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haqel (IRSNB collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon. It is the type species of Petersichthys.
