Trimarginites stenorhynchus
Taxonomy
Ammonites stenorhynchus was named by Oppel (1863) [Locus typicus : Lochen near Balingen (Württemberg, Germany)]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is ETH Zurich, a shell. Its type locality is Birmensdorf, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone/marl in the Birmensdorf Beds Formation of Switzerland.
It was recombined as Trimarginites stenorhynchus by Schlegelmilch (1994).
