Cunningtoniceras arizonense
Taxonomy
Cunningtoniceras arizonense was named by Kirkland and Cobban (1986) [= 1963 Mammites nodosoides (Schlotheim); Miller and Breed, p. 127, 128, Fig. 1.
= 1982 Plesiacanthoceras wyomingense (Reagan); Kirkland, p. 548.]. Its type specimen is MNA N3322 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MNA loc. 539 (UCM loc. 84119), East of Coyote Creek, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Dakota Sandstone Formation of Arizona.
