Taxonomy
Polygnathus tethydis was named by Huckriede (1958). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Gladigondolella tethydis by Muller (1962) and Kılıç (2021).

Synonyms
  • Roundya lautissima was named by Huckriede (1958).

    It was recombined as Diplododella lautissima by Mosher (1968); it was synonymized subjectively with Gladigondolella tethydis by Kılıç (2021).
