Thalassotitan atrox
Taxonomy
Thalassotitan atrox was named by Longrich et al. (2022). Its type specimen is Syntypes: MNHM.KHG.231 & OCP DEK-GE 417, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sidi Daoui [upper Couche III] (general), which is in a Maastrichtian marine limestone in the Couche III Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Thalassotitan.
