Sulciplica phalaena

Taxonomy
Spirifer phalaena was named by Dana (1849). Its type specimen is BMNH BM 8588 and is a mold. Its type locality is Eaglehawk Neck (Strzelecki coll), which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Malbina Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Licharewia phalaena by Waterhouse (1968); it was recombined as Sulciplica phalaena by Lee et al. (2023).
