Cheirocystis ardmorensis
Taxonomy
Cheirocrinus ardmorensis was named by Bassler (1943). Its type specimen is USNM 93471 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hickory Creek Gap, which is in a Chazyan deep subtidal sandstone/shale in the Bromide Formation of Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Cheirocystis ardmorensis by Paul (1972).
