Plesechioceras pierrei

Taxonomy
Hypechioceras pierrei was named by Spath (1956). It is not extant. Its type locality is Stowell Park borehole (O. oxynotum Zone, 1441-1458ft), which is in a Sinemurian carbonate shale in the Lower Lias Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Plesechioceras pierrei by Zaitsev and Ippolitov (2023).
