Taxonomy
Microderoceras bispinatum ancyrense was named by Bremer (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kızık, Ankara, which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian marine marl in Türkiye.

It was recombined as Epideroceras bispinatum ancyrense by Alkaya and Meister (1995); it was recombined as Eoderoceras ancyrense by Zaitsev and Ippolitov (2023).
