Cunningtoniceras lonsdalei

Taxonomy
Acanthoceras lonsdalei was named by Adkins (1928). Its type specimen is TMM 2410 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Belton-Temple Road, which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Waco Lake Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Euomphaloceras lonsdalei by Stephenson (1955) and Wright (1963); it was recombined as Cunningtoniceras lonsdalei by Kennedy and Cobban (1990).
