Acanthoceras basseae
Taxonomy
Acanthoceras basseae was named by Kennedy and Hancock (1970). Its type specimen is KENNEDY et HANCOCK,pl. 97, figure 1 a-b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sainte-Catherine, Rouen, which is in a Cenomanian carbonate chalk in the Craie de Rouen Formation of France.
